Autumn Planning Conference 2018

Event Date:
05/10/2018
Event Time:
9:00am - 5:00pm
Event Location:
Gibson Hotel, Dublin 1

The theme of this year's Autumn Planning Conference is 'Planning for Regeneration'.

The launch this summer of the Urban Regeneration and Development Fund and the Rural Regeneration Development Fund by the Government under Project Ireland 2040 signals a €3 billion commitment to regeneration across Ireland under the National Development Plan. These and other investment funds now available offer a very significant opportunity for well planned regeneration projects to be realised and to deliver a better quality of place at the heart of our communities – a key objective of planning.

This is the back drop of the 2018 Autumn Planning Conference. The conference will look at key issues in the successful regeneration of our cities, towns and villages, drawing together many case studies and experiences to stimulate debate and facilitate the sharing of best practise and ideas. In addition, delegates will be updated on recent Planning Legislation including the establishing of the new Office of the Planning Regulator that will be a significant addition to the planning regime in Ireland.
